Noboribetsu Primeval Forest and Oyunuma River Natural Footbath
Walk through a primeval forest and soak in a foot bath in a river with a natural spring.
Noboribetsu is a great place to enjoy nature. The Noboribetsu Primeval Forest is a treasure trove of plants designated as a Natural Monument, and trekking is recommended during the seasons of fresh green and autumn leaves. On the course from the Noboribetsu Park Service Center, you may even spot a black woodpecker. If you go to Oyunuma River, you can enjoy a natural foot bath created by the overflowing hot spring source, as well as a forest bathing surrounded by lush nature.
