Nakatonbetsu Limestone Cave Shizen Fureai Park

Designated as a Natural Monument of Hokkaido, the Nakatonbetsu Limestone Cave was the first cave discovered in the prefecture. The area around the cave is maintained as a park, where visitors can take a stroll and see the caves for free. Once you step inside, you will find yourself in a dim and cold space. In summer, the temperature is more than 10 degrees cooler than the outside temperature, and you will feel as if you have entered another world.
