Cape Ogon Seaside Park
One of the best viewpoints for sunsets in Hokkaido! Wait for the sun to set while playing on the beach!
This is one of only five viewpoints in Hokkaido that have been selected as one of the 100 Best Sunsets in Japan. In the past, when herring fishing was very popular, large schools of herring would bathe in the setting sun and make the surface of the sea glow with a golden color. The sunset dyeing everything in orange is exceptional! There is also a pier crossing from rock to rock along the beach in the nearby Seaside Park. Why don't you go back to your childhood and enjoy crab fishing in the rock pools?
