Tokachigaoka Observatory
A viewing platform from which you can see the Hidaka Mountains, the Tokachi Plain, and a beautiful sunset.
From this observatory set up near Tokachigaoka Park, you can see the hotel town of Tokachigawa Hot Springs, as well as the Tokachi River flowing leisurely beyond, the vast Tokachi Plain, and the Hidaka Mountains stretching far into the distance. It is also a popular spot for photography, and many photographers come here to capture the beautiful sunset. This is a must-visit place when visiting Tokachigawa Hot Springs.
