Kitakobushi Shiretoko Hotel and Resort

The inn is located in front of Utoro Port in Shiretoko, with a spectacular view. The sauna, which was renovated in 2021, has two types: "KAKUUNA" with an image of drift ice and "UNEUNA" with an image of a wooden cave, both with open windows overlooking Shiretoko's mountains and the Sea of Okhotsk. In winter, you may be able to see the sea covered with drift ice, and once every 15 minutes you can experience a sauna with a spectacular view during an auto-roryu. The rooms are Japanese modern and relaxing, and the food, which includes seafood from Shiretoko and Ezo sika deer meat, is also appealing. Day-trip bathing is also available, but a relaxing stay at this resort hotel is definitely recommended.
