Okurayama Observatory, Japan's New Three Great Nightscapes

Okura Ski Jump Stadium is a ski jump stadium donated to Sapporo City by Baron Okura Kishichiro, the founder of Hotel Okura. At the starting point of the ski jump at an altitude of 307 meters, there is the Okurayama Observatory where you can enjoy a panoramic view of the Ishikari Plain and Ishikari Bay as well as the city of Sapporo. This is a one-of-a-kind observatory where you can see the night view over the runway and feel the realism of the jump competition and the tension of the jumpers. In June 2020, a new restaurant with creative French cuisine will open! In the summer, the lifts are open at night, so you can enjoy the night view to your heart's content.
