Historical Buildings in Mashike

The area around Mashike Station, the terminus of the Rumoi Line, features many stone and wooden buildings that have withstood the winds and snow of the Sea of Japan and create a nostalgic townscape. From the street in front of the station, where a famous movie was filmed, starts a walking path where you can see and feel the historical buildings of a bygone era.
