Pinneshiri

An outdoor area surrounded by rich nature where you can enjoy camping, mountain climbing, and hot springs.

Surrounded by greenery, this auto campground has various facilities, including car sites with power supply and cottages equipped with appliances, and also serves as a roadside station. In the Meiji era (1868-1912), the town of Nakatombetsu experienced a gold rush, and souvenirs related to gold can be found here. For outdoor enthusiasts, climbing the 703-meter-high Mt. Pinneshiri is recommended. After working up a sweat, head straight for the town's hot springs right across from the roadside station to refresh your body and soul.
