Shiroi Koibito no Oka (Numaura Observatory)

Shiroi Koibito no Oka is a new tourist attraction on Rishiri Island, created with the cooperation of a confectionary manufacturer. It is a quiet observatory where you can see Rishiri Fuji, Otatomari Marsh, Numaura Beach, and the Hokkaido mainland across the Sea of Japan. Shiroi Koibito no Oka" is a nickname for the hill, and the official name is "Numaura Observatory. It is actually the view of Rishiri Fuji from here that appears on the package of "Shiroi Koibito," Hokkaido's famous sweet.
