Cape Kamui

The majestic Kamui Rock, which rises out of the Chakotan blue ocean.

From the Kamui Cape Nature Park, walk up the slope and along the promenade called Charenka Path for about 20 minutes until you reach the tip of Kamui Cape, where the horizon spreads out before your eyes. Kamui Rock, which is said to be the incarnation of a maiden according to old legends, and other sheer rocks rise up below, and the pretty flowers of the Ezo Kanzou flowers add color from June to July. Kamui Banya, located inside the park, offers a wide range of processed marine products and local souvenirs, while the restaurant serves seasonal sea urchin rice bowls and soft ice cream inspired by the shakotan blue color.
