Kutsugata Misaki Park

The park is located near the Kutsugata Port Ferry Terminal, one of the two ferry terminals on Rishiri Island. From the observatory, you can see all the way to the neighboring island of Rebun. The park features a monument to Rishiri-born lyricist Otowa Shigure and is also called Donto Misaki because of a verse in his lyrics. Between the park and the rocks you can see various coastal plants such as black lilies, Ezo-kanzo (daylilies) and hamanasu beach roses, as well as rock moss, and the area is also a popular place to watch the sunset. There is also a campground, which is crowded with many campers during the season.
