Abashiri Omagari Lakeside Park

This nature park was created by reusing the site of an old Abashiri Prison farm. It is used as a place for citizens and tourists to experience and learn. The site is blessed with farmland, riverside forest, wetlands, and waterfront, and is currently being developed to become a place where citizens can relax and experience harvesting and other stay-based tourism activities. Cosmos starts blooming in September, and sunflowers bloom in two seasons. This year, you can enjoy the sunflowers in full bloom around late July and late September.
