Minamifurano
A variety of limited-edition menus and products that make the most of Furano's ingredients.
Located along Route 38, Minamifurano (Minamifurano Product Center) is a road station with a unique shape that resembles the bow of a canoe. On the first floor, the store sells processed local agricultural products such as batajaga (buttered potatoes) and sweet corn. In the forest exhibition corner on the second floor, samples of trees such as Sakhalin fir, Ezo spruce, and mizunara oak, which grow naturally in the mountain forests of Minamifurano, are displayed.
