Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park

The best time to see tulips is usually around May 20.

Kamiyubetsu Tulip Park is a large-scale park with brightly colored tulips in full bloom. The total area of the park is 12.5 hectares, of which about 7 hectares are planted with many kinds of tulips. Every year, about 50 varieties of tulips are introduced and the planting arrangement is adjusted, and you can see about 200 varieties of tulips, including those directly imported from the Netherlands and those produced in Japan. You can also enjoy panoramic views of the park from the Dutch windmill-shaped observatory in the center of the park, the viewpoint along the national highway, and the mobile observatory.
