Sapporo Factory

Sapporo Factory is a large commercial complex built on the site of a former factory owned by Sapporo Brewery, which was established in 1876 as Hokkaido Development Commission Brewery. About 160 stores and restaurants are located in seven buildings, including brick buildings from the factory era and a huge atrium. Various events are held here, and, in the fall, the brick buildings covered with red-colored ivy are even more beautiful, making it a place of relaxation for Sapporo citizens.
