Cape Noshappu

Facing the Soya Strait, Cape Noshappu overlooks Cape Soya and the shadow of Sakhalin to the east, with the islands of Rishiri and Rebun right in front of you. The symbol of this place is the Wakkanai Lighthouse, the tallest lighthouse in Hokkaido and the second tallest in Japan. Along with the Yuhigaoka Observatory, it is also famous as a viewing spot for beautiful sunsets and a romantic date spot.
