Sounkyo Onsen

So-unkyo Hot Spring Resort is nestled in the ancient deep forest and the sheer columnar rock face created over a long period of time since the eruption of Mount Daisetsu about 30,000 years ago. With more than 60 sources, the hot spring water is characterized by its simple sulfuric spring water and colorless transparency. There are many scenic spots in the vicinity, such as Ginga and Meteor Falls, as well as the trailhead for Mt.
