Yunokawa Onsen, which produces 7,000 tons of hot water per day from 32 sources at an average temperature of about 65 degrees Celsius, is located only 3 km from Hakodate Airport and about 30 minutes by streetcar from JR Hakodate Station. If you stay at an inn along the coast with the Tsugaru Straits in front of you, you can watch the famous summer fire of squid fishing while soaking in the hot spring. Many of the inns in Hakodate are proud of their seafood dishes, and on weekends, many people from the suburbs come here to enjoy a day trip to the hot springs.
