Otaru Art Village

The Otaru Art Village, consisting of five historic buildings in Otaru, was born, where history and art resonate.

This is an art and culture space near the Otaru Canal. The Nitori Museum of Art, which exhibits paintings and wood sculptures, also has the Louis C Tiffany Slant Glass Gallery, which opened in November 2018, on the first floor, and the Art Nouveau Art Deco Glass Gallery on the basement floor. The Stained Glass Museum, which has been popular since its opening, and the former Mitsui Bank Otaru Branch, with its massive masonry exterior, are also located here. You can enjoy excellent arts and crafts from Japan and abroad, as well as bank architecture.
