Horomi Pass Lavender Garden / Observation Parking Lot
The lavender garden in the city center is recognized as a Japan Night View Heritage Site.
The lavender garden at Horomi Pass started with 120 lavender plants in 1987, but has now grown to about 8,000 plants, and from early July to the end of July, the bright purple lavender blooms all over the place. Beyond the lavender, you can see the city of Sapporo, which is also a famous night view spot. The Horomi-toge Observation Parking Lot is the only parking lot in Japan dedicated to night views, and is recognized as a Japan Night View Heritage Site. The beautiful night view of Sapporo spreads out below the observation parking lot, and you can relax and enjoy the night view.
