Roller Coaster Road
A landscape of straight roads with many ups and downs
After turning at the sign "Nishi 11 Line Noumen Noudo" along Route 237, you will find yourself on a 2.5 km long straight road with sharp elevation changes. Along the road, rice fields and hills spread out, and as you climb up, the Tokachi mountain range comes into view, making it a spectacular spot that was featured in a TV drama broadcast in 2005. There are 11 footpath courses to enjoy these sceneries on foot, as well as the Furano Long Ride course, where you can ride a bicycle from Biei to Furano.
