Maoi no Oka Park

A roadside station with a produce stand that sells a wide variety of vegetables, mainly from Naganuma.

A popular roadside station located near a hot spring and a campground, Maoi no Oka Park attracts many visitors. It is lined with many direct sales shops, where you can easily purchase seasonal produce such as fruits and vegetables from Naganuma. Especially popular is the Gensen Tofu, which is made using the nearby hot spring waters and is characterized by a sweet, delicate flavor. A variety of products are available to go with the tofu, including soybean products such as dashi soy sauce and handmade miso, puddings, and doburoku (unrefined sake). There are also original items, such as the Genghis Khan Man (steamed lamb buns), available at the station, as well as a self-service restaurant. Why not stop by during your drive?
