Lake Shikotsu Visitor Center

Dioramas and panels explain the nature and highlights of Lake Shikotsu in an easy-to-understand manner.

This is an exhibition facility where you can experience the nature of the four seasons at Lake Shikotsu. With the theme of "To the forest, to the mountain, to the lake: another trip to Lake Shikotsu," many hands-on exhibits are used in the museum, allowing visitors from children to the elderly to enjoy the tour. In the lecture room, visitors can enjoy a 15-minute video showing the various faces of Lake Shikotsu on a large screen.
