Marimo Exhibition and Observation Center

It is a valuable exhibition facility where visitors can observe a total of more than 150 specially protected marimo living in a tank that reproduces the bottom of Lake Akan. Visitors can also learn about efforts to protect and increase the number of marimo, which are on the decline. Outside, there is an observation area where you can watch Japanese smelt and trout, as well as an observation space that is popular as a photo spot.
