Roadside Station Utoro Shirietoku

This is a roadside station at the entrance to the Shiretoko Peninsula. The tourist information center provides tourist information, reservations for sightseeing boats, and information on hotels and guest houses. Inside the station, there is a store selling local specialties and a direct sales store of the Utoro Fishermen's Cooperative Association, which sells processed marine products landed at Utoro Port and, depending on the season, fresh fish. At the restaurant, you can enjoy fresh seafood produced locally. There is also a 65-inch high-definition television showing the four seasons of Shiretoko with a focus on wildlife. Shiretoko nature panels are also on display.
