Kushiro Shitsugen Norokko Train

The Norokko sightseeing train, which runs leisurely through Kushiro Marsh, operates between Kushiro and Toro stations from April 29 to early October. From the window of the train, during the 40–50-minute ride, you can admire not only the magnificent scenery of the marshland, but also the meandering Kushiro River, the Iwabokki Floodgate, and, if you are lucky, also see wild animals. The train travels slowly through nature, stopping at the stations of Kushiroshitsugen and Hosooka. The train also slows down at scenic spots, and in-car announcements provide guidance, so that you can fully enjoy the charms of the marshland.
